He was born in Lisbon in 1973. He is an illustrator and has done set design for theater and animation cinema. His illustrations have filled pages of books and newspapers since 1992.
Won awards, lost hair and participated in exhibitions.
Some of his books are published in several countries, including Luxembourg. He created the Lighthouse of Dreams - Encounter on the Book and the Imaginary Child, in 2006.
In 2010, he created the Pato Lógico.
Born in 1960, he graduated from the Law School of the University of Coimbra in 1984.
He worked as a lawyer, later working as a Polytechnic teaching professor in the legal area.
After a successful career where he has held relevant positions in prestigious national companies, he has been appointed Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Manuel Antonio da Mota Foundation since 2011.
Raúl Nieto Guridi (GURIDI)
He studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Seville and from a very early age worked and practiced almost every field of image, printing, design and advertising professionally.
Since 1995, he has specialized in the field of graphic arts, both institutionally and in advertising and multimedia, along with his classes as a teacher of secondary education.
Since 2010, her production has focused on children's editorial illustration and posters for cultural theater, dance and puppet campaigns.
He also teaches illustration and creativity workshops and collaborates with various ONG's.
Some of his books have been translated into more than 11 languages.
He won the first prize at the 7th International Illustration Meeting of S. João da Madeira in 2014 and the 2015 National Prize for best book of images "The Flock" at Aliança Bookshops in Madrid.
He won an honorable mention in 2018 with "Two Ways" at the Bologna Ragazzi Awards.
Fatinha Ramos is an illustrator and visual artist based in Antwerp, native of Aveiro.
After working for twelve years in design and artistic direction, he made a
change in her career to follow the old dream of becoming a full-time illustrator.

Dolores Prades is Publisher of Emília and an editorial consultant, holds a doctorate in economic history from USP and a specialist in children's literature from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Director of the Emília Institute and the Emília Training Laboratory. Curator and coordinator of the Conversations at the Footers (2011/2015) seminars.
He coordinates in Brazil the Latin American and Caribbean Chair in Reading and Writing. Invited teacher of the Master of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Curator of FLUPP Park (2014/2105). Member of the jury of the Hans Christian Andersen 2016 Award and the Bologna Children Award 2016.
Since the beginning of 2018 she has been a consultant for the Bologna Children's Book Fair for Latin America.
Dora Batalim SottoMayor
Dora Batalim SottoMayor began very early to read the images of children's books, then also the words and never stopped again. As a consequence, he studied literature always intersecting with other artistic languages: theater, cinema and the plastic arts and with the spheres of education and sociocultural: he is postgraduate in sociology and education sciences, and master in children's literature makes doctoral studies in the same area. In parallel, he studies art therapy.
She coordinates the "Post-Graduation in Children's Book" of the Catholic University and teaches at ESEI Maria Ulrich. Very often she teaches various courses on children's books, illustration and pedagogy, and participates as a guest speaker at various meetings on these topics.
He was part of the CAM Educational Service team of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, among other sectors of education of several cultural institutions where he develops activities of an artistic and pedagogical nature for the children and adults.
Translates children's literature. She was a judge of the "National Illustration Award" in 2008, 2009 and 2014 and is a permanent member of the Jury of the "Grande C Small Competition" of the Discovering program of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
